I have seen the Golden Eagle with somewhat regularity on the Miccosukee Indian reservation and did again today.

I would need to see a photo. Golden Eagle is a very rare visitor to Florida with only a tiny handful of documented sightings in South Florida in winter. All have been juvenile birds which are easily identified by the white in the base of the primaries.
I have seen it on many occasions and just recently yesterday...trying to get a photo...I lead tours in the Everglades and on the airboat yesterday saw it again in same area.
